IBM Cognos Controller clients can now harness the power of the IBM Cognos TM1 and IBM Cognos Business Intelligence (BI) toolsets.
By utilising the IBM Financial Analytical Processor (FAP) publish process, these clients can directly create and populate cubes in IBM Cognos TM1.
Cubes are published directly into the TM1 data servers and provide a huge step for clients looking to maximise Controller data within OLAP technologies, to enhance reporting, planning and analysis.
Once in TM1, the cubes can be packaged up and pushed forward into the reporting framework of IBM Cognos BI, to provide word-class reporting, and can also be used as the basis for budgeting and forecasting cycles.
